Welcome to Sail The Harbour Yacht Charters based at Rushcutters Bay in the heart of Sydney Harbour. |
|
| |
 |
Sail The Harbour is owned and operated by David Andrews a qualified sailing instructor and Coxswain. David arrived in Sydney in 1989 from England and fell in love with Sydney Harbour straight away.
He has sailed regularly on the Harbour ever since. David loves the fact that you can sail Sydney Harbour all year round without ever needing your wet weather gear especially in comparison to his sailing experiences on the Solent in England.
Now you have the opportunity to join David out on the water and experience beautiful Sydney Harbour on board his luxury yacht, UBULUKU, a Catalina 320.

| Ubuluku, a 10 m/32ft yacht can carry 8 guests plus David as your skipper in great comfort due to its generous cockpit and pushpit seats (seating areas). Ubuluku is fully equipped with a powerful diesel engine, gas stove and oven, fridge and ice closet, electric toilet, dodger (for shade), swimladder and cockpit shower for swimmers as well as CD player. There is a complete set of crockery and cutlery including bottle opener for guest use with either the catered or self catering food or drink options. |

Typical charters are either 4 hours from 10am - 2pm for a great sail around the Harbour without a stop for lunch or 6 hours from 10am to 4pm which gives you time for a leisurely anchor in a tranquil bay for lunch and swim. There is no pre-determined plan, so if you want an exhilarating sail or alternatively a few hours at anchor the choice is yours. All guests can be involved in the sailing experience if desired. You can steer, winch, tack or just lie back and soak up the experience and beautiful views. |

| |
| As we are based in the centre of the harbour there are numerous opportunities to explore Sydney Harbour in many directions. Guests can choose to sail to the Heads to see the dramatic entrance to the Harbour or to cruise past the Opera House and under the Harbour Bridge or to discover one of the many isolated bays in Middle Harbour. Alternatively, charters can include a trip to Watsons Bay, home of the world famous Doyle's Seafood Restaurant or to the Fish Markets in Pyrmont with the opportunity to stop and purchase a delicious seafood lunch. The choices are many and varied. |

We can also arrange Twighlight Sails over summer to experience the Harbour in the late afternoon/evening usually from 4.30pm - 7.30pm. As the lights come on around Sydney the colours and views are fantastic.
